The W6 has an exceptionally solid feel, which is a function of the medium weight and stability-enhancing nCode technology. Advanced female playtesters said the racquet delivers a superb blend of power and control, giving them the confidence to go for their shots. You may struggle to generate heavy-duty spin on ground strokes, according to playtesters. But for driving the ball and putting it away, the W6 is awesome. At net, the racquet’s stability is a major asset. When you hit off-center, which will happen if you’re not used to a small head size like this one, volleys are still solid. And the beam’s construction—flexible enough that you can “feel” the ball without it being mushy and taking power away from your shot—ensures that your trip to the net will be a successful one. We imagine that plenty of men would enjoy using the W6, too, though they probably wouldn’t like the colors, Wild Crimson and Blue Steel.
BOTTOM LINE:
