Volkl Power Bridge 3 Tennis Racquet

Volkl Powerbridge 3 Tennis Racquet

Strong, stronger, POWERBRIDGE 3. Thanks to technologies perfectly attuned to one another, this powerful tennis racquet provides for excellent ball acceleration. The new POWERBRIDGE stabilizes the frame in the yoke area, while high tenacity DNX segments provide additional strength to the shaft and racket head.

Furthermore, two CATAPULT springs charge every stroke with an extra dose of energy. This effect is assisted by BIG GROMMET technology, which increases the size of the racket’s sweet spot. The POWERBRIDGE 3 is the right racquet for those who want outstanding performance and maximum power as the focus of their game.

How does Powerbridge work?

The secret of POWERBRIDGE lies in two components. The first is the tried-and-tested DNX technology, which is now being used in the bridge of the racket head for the first time. Second, the designers at Völkl Tennis have succeeded in reducing the cross-section of the bridge without losing stability. The quantity of expansion resin which functions as the binding agent to bond the yoke to the rest of the frame to form a unit remains completely unchanged here. The only difference is the higher compaction of the matrix. In conjunction with the power features of DNX this compression produces an enormously solid composite material which optimizes the heart of the racket, thereby investing the entire racket with more power.
