Organix V1 Oversize Tennis Racquet Review
How It Tested: Playtesters reveled in how the Völkl V1’s stringbed played like a springboard: Power and spin just shot off of it. As a 4.0 playtester with an eastern forehand and two-handed backhand put it, the V1 Oversize (pictured) “hit without vibration, with awesome feel, and with adequate power and spin. It was great in all facets of the game.” Furthermore, 3.5 to 4.0-level players said that the stick was highly maneuverable and comfortable. Nonetheless, a few 4.0 playtesters claimed that, while the V1 OS could get the job done at net, the stick “felt a little dead on volleys.” For those in search of an even springier ride, the V1 Oversize features a larger, more forgiving head size and extra length.
Bottom Line: Smooth, steady, and cushy racquets for beginners and intermediates who place a premium on comfort.
