HOW IT TESTED:
The O3 Blue is an extra-long, oversize stick, but it�s no rocket launcher. It provides a little extra pop without causing you to spray balls. But is the racquet worth the premium price? It depends on your skill level. The sweet spot, so to speak, is NTRP 3.5 to 4.0. Playtesters in this range said that the racquet had a good blend of power and control. Those below this range didn�t get enough power, and better players said the stick was too light and lacked stability when they missed the sweet spot. But to its credit, the O3 Blue didn�t feel harsh on off-center hits. The string bed has a damp feel because of the built-in vibration dampener and grommet-free holes. These allow the strings greater room to move, and the friction from the strings rubbing against the frame reduces chatter. If, however, you usually don�t play with a vibration dampener, you should consider another frame.

BOTTOM LINE:
This will help improving intermediates reach their next goal, but then they�ll want something heavier.
